November 26, 2008 India and Indians witnessed the carnage that shook the financial capital of India. Hundreds of innocent people lost their life.
The facts that the news channels and other media put forth were shocking. I would like to have some points chalked out. These points are those which need more attention than what was given.
1. India has a massive defence and police budgets?
Yes India has a massive budget for the above purpose. The same money you pay as tax. This money is used to better the services and infrastructure. Despite this the police do not have arms that are so backdated that police cannot protect themself. Forget protecting citizens. The bullet proof jackets/vests were not upto the mark. A single AK-47 bullet could penetrate them. Speculation says that theses vests and jackets were only made for protecting police against small arms bullets, stones and other items used in public riots or similar situation.
Where is our money gone. Our hard earned money that that we payed as tax. WE NEED A PUBLIC DECLARATIN AND AUDIT. I need to track my money. Do you?
2. Babus had a massive ego to share information.
Yes RAW, IB, Marines all had a communication issue. In october first week US intelligence informed India about the attack. It was a warning that the babus appreciated and sat on till it happend. Now thats not all the marines chief on one news said we did not have any information
Well the babus ego was above our lives.
